About Lake County for Public Transit:
-
Lake County for Public transit (LCPT) was founded in May 2026, and is currently working on gaining members, traction, and support to help improve public transit services in Lake County, Ohio.
-
LCPT values three major pillars of public transit: Sustainability, Equity, and Connectivity. These pillars are what public transit advocacy is built off of. It’s all about ensuring a collective community where people can live, work, and play while maintaining a happy, healthy, and fulfilling lifestyle.
-
LCPT aims to better connect the community of Lake County and Greater Cleveland to Lake County’s governments, and Lake County’s transit authority: Laketran. Our mission is to expand services and funding for Laketran, transit-oriented developments, and any other transit-related entities that would benefit Lake County’s citizens.
